At Cedar Bakehouse, most items are made using a slow 24 - 48 hour cold fermentation process to develop rich flavor and texture. Because of this, Anytime Treats require 3-5 days notice so we can bake your goodies fresh for you!

our story
Hi, we're Thomas and Michele aka the bakers behind all the goodies.
Michele's love for baking began at a young age with her trusty Easy-Bake Oven. When she decided to open Cedar Bakehouse, I happily joined her side in the kitchen -- my dough skills began with my time working in a pizza shop!
Together we pick only the best ingredients for every recipe (think King Arthur Flour, Kerrygold Irish Butter and Dutch-processed cocoa), ensuring each bite is a little moment of joy. We also have great taste testers, including our toddler, Cedar, who loves to ask, "What can I have from the bakehouse today?"
Fun fact: Cedar was born before we moved into our current home, which happens to be covered in Cedar wood siding! With that kind of combo, Cedar Bakehouse simply had to be our name.
We've loved getting started with our small-batch, home bakery and we're so happy to continue sharing it with the Point Loma community.
